That Pete dude at Skater is pretty smart. Took my boat there last week to get another set of props to test, my 7th and he gave me a suggestion on my water pickups. One day of work and I went from 125 to 133 on the same set of props and I think there is plenty left. That is a cheap 8mph.

On Pete's suggestion I filled in the thru hull's since I was not using them and I raised the transom ones. New props next week and hopefully I can get it going a little better than that.

Mine are almost a 100 hp more than a stock 800 sc and believe me I will not see 160 in this lifetime, until I upgrade. Beyondreason has 1100 's and he sees 160 so no way 900 sc's gets anywhere near 160. Mike D'annabel (sp?) has 1000 hp nascar motors and the fastest the boat has ever gone is 155. I will say though that even at 133, without a windscreen, you do feel like your face is gonna blow off.
