Tailpipe inline mufflers on Skaters
I have seen a few Skaters that have the gatlin gun style muffler built into the tail pipe. They seem to cut some of the noise on the big enignes. CMI told me they can make them, however the muffler itself will rust out in a couple of years. Does anyone else make these? Stainless steel should work? Anyone using them?
I need to order tailpipes in a week.

The first pic is the 40 Skater with the standard Stelling switchable shotguns.
The second is the OE with the built in mufflers from Stellings. They took all the bite and bark out but left a nice and very pleasing roar. They are supposed to pass the test with 96 decibels when idling. Had to cut the transom holes so the 6 inch pipes would fit. Very impressive looking inside the engine compartment and out.
