The big thing you have to worry about is wether or not the gas has ethanol in it. If it does then it will soften the fiberglass & eventually start to clog filters & injectors. Clogged injectors on 2-stroke outboards makes them POP !!!!

How does this work, does it install where the old tanks are or do you have to relocate the fuel cells. Someone please explain because I would love to get rid of my fiberglass tanks. If anyone has done this please let me know how much time, effort, or money is involved.

Thanks

You would probably cut the tops of the old tanks and set the cells in them

You make that sound easy Ryan.

Read here:

Ethanol is not our friend on the water particularly in Skaters.

Scroll down some and read some of the research I did at this thread:

I never said it would be easy , but that would probably be the way to do it.

The hard part would be tearing up and cutting my perfectly nice boat....

Peter is cutting through the floor and relining them. I'm thinking maybe I'll start running some kind of race or AV gas once ethanol is inevitable in my area....
