Default What's the deal on this Skater?

OK Skater Guru's tell me what the deal is on this boat? It has been for sale for quite awhile and I am wondering what are the drawbacks of these old model Skaters? What kind of speeds can you get with this combination? What kind of insurance can I expect?

I have had some interest in this one but don't know much about these older Skater's.

I would like to know also, its been for sale about 3 yrs. In the beginning I thought it was too expensive.

You could almost part it out at that price.

It sould be a nice boat as long as a survey doesn't show any rot/water. This set up might run right at 100MPH. Overall it would be a nice pleasure boat.

Thanks for the response Ryan. I think the insurance and outboards on a 32 make it a less desirable boat to most people. It has been for sale for a LONG time. May be worth checking into.

I noticed the pictures don't have lowers on the motors. I emailed them to ask if lowers where included and what they are. No response yet.

Its heavier than the newer 32's, but should still be a great boat.

i had a 1987 32 (old risky business) with 3 -2.4/2.5 s was a great boat, heavy maybe did 100 mph but was a great boat. my only worries would be moisture especially in transom.

this boat still has not sold.... what is the speculation on it? how fast with twins.... skater site shows over 100, but that is a new twin OB 32, not an 87 model

I called and emailed them about the boat. No response from them. I assume they don't want to sell it very badly.

I think its been for sale for more than 3 years. Seems like it was around that long 2 years ago when I bought the AMT.
