You didnt happen to tape it did you ? That was the roughest race I was ever in, and I raced the full circuit for 10+ yrs.
We were in a 40 skater, and I could see fish as they passed over my canopy, we didnt tape off our scoops, and the motors kept wanting to die.

I think Rob Bass at the lake still has the tape. We watched it about a billion times. You were WAY out front needing to beat a certain time to catch Alcone in the points title I remember. You damn near did it!

We decided to remove the bow rail from the area between the sponsons. The painter did an excellent job of making the graphics have a finished and flowing look.
The same is being done on the transom. Will have pics later.
They also livened up the otherwise dull flame arrestors.
