dang that new 30 is one fine mo-fo (some old motown lingo) as im originally from Ann Arbor Mich, i sure wish i could justify that cost, they quoted me $130,000 for a blank, i dont know if they just wanted to get rid of me as i didnt need their rigging..so im buying this 28 and im putting the 300XS'S on it .
i need to sell my ocean express before i can order the motors (the mama put her foot down) but have to drive from florida to PA to get it. if anyone knows someone looking for a nice 33 ft ocean express with new drives and 540's merlins let me know.

According to Powerboat magazine, Jan 2007, page 80, the 30 Skater that was tested, was listed with a hull weight of 3,000 lbs.

Jim,

Thats about what we figured for the total
3000 hull
1000+ T/300xs
350 addl rigging
-------
4350 or so, dry

I am waiting for a confirmation from Skater, but am presently planing on being at Skater Tue Jan 16.
