Have family (son-if-law & daughter) visiting this weekend, and the back seat in a 30 cat, is not the best place to be in an event.
Will most likely take a ride down Charlotte Harbor to watch.
You have a 30 Motion with 300x or 300xs or something else? Those are great boats.

Yeah I have a 30 motion with 300X's. I really like it so far.

I was considering hanging the snow plows up here.

Are you going to the show alone?
I do not have anything to speak of on my calendar Dec 3 through about Dec 15. We will definitely get out in my Skater.
Sounds weird, but look forward to seeing the jet boat. We owned a 1997 SeaRay SeaRaider F16 175/sportjet from spring 1998 to Nov 2003. It was the 1st boat Frankie remember being in.

First, let me say, once you have owned a Skater cat, you will most likely never want to go back to any V-bottom.
The 30 Skater is actually 30ft 8in long, and only 2 inches narrower that the 32. Hull to hull, not really any difference to speak of, the 30 hull is amazing in rough water. I would like more speed, that would require inboards, but the $ to $ comparassion, and the cost to operate comparassion is off the chart.
Like I said earlier, if I was in the ocean in big rollers on a regualr basis, this hull would not be my first choice, I would have stuck with the 36 Skater.
The 300xs package comes with a 2 year warranty, and my boat has been averaging 2.54mpg, you just can not beat that.
For me this boat is all about, the best hull, the best materials the best construction, going fast, and a high fun to $ ratio.

1.9mpg at 80mph
1.4mpg at 107mph
The 300xs does not make the same power as the 300x, but it is way more fuel efficient.

Oh the joys of living in FL.
Earlier today, my 11 year old son and I lowered the Skater of the lift, and spend some time together at 100+mph.

Humidity: 56%
Winds 9mph ENE
Charlotte Harbor, light chop <1ft
POB: 2
Fuel on board upon return to dock: 45
Fuel on board during speed portion of run: 50
