Thats hard to tell, the gladiator is 36ft right ?
A 36 skater would ride better, a 30 would be close.
But a 30 with egg beaters would be hours of on the water enjoyement with very little hassle.
If by slop you are talking chop, cats handle it a ton better than v's.

been thinking about selling my gladiator and buying a new skater 30 with the 300xs, you telling me that in the slop that i boat in the 30 skater is going to ride smoother and more comfortable than my gladiator?? usually am out on the water with my wife and young kids don't want to scare them half to death either
It is a big 30 so to speak, the beam is only 2" narrower than the 32' B Skater and the tunnel is very similar.
