Re: hey skater experts
The CG - each boat is a little different - Pete is the best one to get you in the ball park based on year, style and length - If your fuel tanks are centrally located the amount of fuel in the tank will not vari the CG much - quick answer is where are your fuel tanks - body style makes a difference enclosed vs open cockpit - No one owns a skater to go slow - it is imporant on an open cockpit boat to understand if you are getting lift as the air comes over the cockpit - the faster you go the more the factor - like an aircraft wing lift comes from above - the faster laminer air over the top creates lift - you may of may not have lift @ 100 and may not have it @ 150 if you have a lot of turbulence - the lift or lack of it can shift your dynamic cg - so you have a couple of factors to consider - a simple hg or WC guage can get you some of these answers for less that 50 bucks

It is going to make someone a really nice boat, you have done lots of recent upgrades and maintenance. The ability to verify that the boat has a good history always helps. Hope it works out for the seller and future buyer. I still miss that boat and would have boaught it back had I known it was for sale...Who ended up buying it??? John Carbona PS I have a bunch of photos of it being built and running in poker runs.... [email protected] |
