Is that a water pickup coming off od the rudder, through the 2" stainless braided line?

MOBILEMERCMAN 10-03-2007 09:06 AM

I was studying the pictures about that. In the early shots on the website the rudder pick up was not there, only the transom intake. The intake must have been added after there first test. I wonder if they removed the first after installing the second.

Hopefully this will be a wake-up call for offshore racing and maybe they'll allow surface drives in all of their classes.

Better get those Mercury prop covers off.

Why if the props are from Mercury?

In the pics they are herrings, but using the merc covers. I was wondering at first if they were using merc props, but I guess not.

Congrats on an awesome boat!

So is that boat a 429v or 449v since there is a 3 to 5 foot extension on the stern? Kinda kidding, but it's definitely longer than a 399.

Nope, it has only has Hering's on it so far.

Wonder how the new Merc CNC props would perform; hmmmm.
