I have no experience working in metal fabrication, do you think I could use wood ?? I know they would not last long but I imagine if I wrap them in rubber or a thin carpet .................What do you guys think ??

my .02 I think no Xchoke but if your not worried about how long they'll last or what they look like .we're gonna make a template out of 2x4s and then weld it in the shop,paint it, mount it and carpet it .

Hey Runnin if you can tell me exactly what you are using to build the guides with that would be awesome !!!! Maybe then I could call on some freinds to help me out knowing where to start material wise.

Thats what I did for my trailer for my Motion. I wll post some pictures this weekend. They work great!

Box channel steel would work well.

Hey XCHOKE ,Box channel steel will work well we ordered some 3 " x 3 " and will mess with it after the holidays

P.S. have your local welding shop or your neighbor weld it and tack in on dont do no wood 2x4s its a friggin SKATER dude .
