40 flatdeck

It seems there are a few different decks for the 40.
What year did the flatdeck start ? What is a realistic price for a ready to go package on one of these with 1000 hp engines ?

I believe they started doing the cut down/flat decks around 98',99'? Maybe Ryan will chime in, he will know exactly. Are you looking for a new build price or a good used boat price? There are some nice 40's in the classifieds.

Dave Scott's former 40 is still at Cumberland I believe, and can have whatever power you want installed.
Bullock has the Silver 40 with 1075's. The owner is building a new one I believe.
Ruthless is an extremely nice 46 and an excellent price if you want to go 46.

The Cat in the Act 40 is a great deal. You should definitely look into that one if you haven't already.
