Here is a Skater owner @ his best. As I understand this boat was a fresh rebuild last year and was taken out on the freeway at the end of the season. Take a look at the work these guys are doing. "CUDO'S" to the crew.

I don't know the player's other than chatting on the boards. I was also way impressed with the project. I think it was only about 6 months ago the accident happened.

The owner of the boat is actually personal friends with the owner of Active Thunder.

The boat is being completely redone at the Active Thunder Factory.

Yep, accident happened back in November on the way home from an event down here in Florida. He got hit by a guy in a septic pump truck, supposedly fell asleep at the wheel.

From what I heard, the owner really lucked out with the insurance company. He's redoing everything in the boat, from motors, gauges, interior, all new. Should be really kick-a$$ when it's finished.

I thought I recognized that boat. I saw it upside down at the AT factory. Pat & the boys did a great job.

I think they did it pro bono so they could figure out how build a real boat.

wow....that was my fav 28....the new graphics are growing on me. Unbelievable amt of work that went into it.

That is awesome. If I could find a bare hull 28 I'd buy it in an instant.

Pat @ Active Thunder told me about thread here on OSO finally found it after learning how to navagate your site. Here are some pictures of the boat being dropped off at Fineline for the interior. Active Thunder really came thru on the repairs and paint I would give them a 10 customer satisfaction. Thanks Pat.
