Default 32 skater Props

Have a 32 skater B with 950 HP with dry sump #6 with a 1.5 gear ratio. What size of props would you recommend? Do 4 or 5 blades work better on a 32? Thanks for your help.

I have a 32B with 700s. Arnesons and Merc 16.25 x 34 through 1.32 ratio 5 blades. The 5 blades are day and night to the 4 blades.

With a 1.5:1 ratio and 950 hp you are going to need a BIG propeller.

Try an 18 X 40 5 blade.

You need a 1.36:1 ratio if you have that much power.

My 32 has 4 blades. I heard that 4 blades are faster but 5 blades are smoother riding, not as much shaking around.

Dont know if it is true. I have 1000hp per side. I am interested to see what works best though.
