Yes , my boat was never designed from the beginning to be built with out it . I think the boat came with alum at one time , but love the classic stainless look . The pics are of the boat fitted with new rubrail before priming .

Looks great. How did you bend the Stainless Steel rub rail on the inside of the tunnel? I am getting ready to do mine and don't want to mess it up.

I was waiting for tha question ! I made a template of that area with a 2x4 minus the with a rubrail your going to use , then I screwed the template to a very sturdy saw horse and with the help from a buddy use a very soft rubber mallet to tap rail around template . Word of advice , if possible do not let holes fall in area of bends , less chance of kinking that way . I used 12 lengths and only had two seams on hull side and two inside of tunnel , much cleaner look .
