Saw the ones on screamandfly and made an offer or two.....but no dice. Don't want trip's, twin's are bad enough. I have another boat so this will only be a toy that will get 30 or 40 hours a year on it. Something will turn up eventually, not in a huge hurry......now.

Just FYI, in case anyone hadn't tried this:

If you'll trim the OB's out a little when you're working around the docks, they'll shift & idle much better.

Great Idea!! Makes the 2.5s shift and keep running when docking....... most of the time.

You showed the touch first on that MO!

I'd always heard of the idling issues for those, but when you were trimming them they idled fine! That's a sweet boat!
