Thanks, I'm glad that I was able to get this project completed to this point. Any of you guys out there that are contemplating doing a restoration on " the boat of your dreams" just take note:
Have a realistic vision for what you want to end up with, remember its going to come down to 2 things basically. TIME and MONEY.
Unless you are highly skilled and gifted in fiberglas/Kevlar repair and fabrication with the heated shop and lots of time on your hands (retired and well off financially) with not much family time needed, it would behoove you to seek out Dave Sikorski for bringing back your dream boat to what she once was or even better. He's a fair guy and does great work.
Also I'd recommend Mitcher T for doing a custom paint and graphics on your restored boat. He too is one of those rare gems that does what he says and can be trusted to deliver and exceed your expectations.
I ended up spending a fraction of what it'd cost me to buy new. However I know that if I had to sell, I'd probably be lucky to break even. That doesn't matter so much to me right now. If you really love high performance boating, and realize how rare these beauties are compared to the majority of vessels that are buzzing around on our water ways, I feel fortunate to have found almost exactly what I was hoping for, and having the right people do the work with the right outcomes.

It's always refreshing to hear a customer that is happy with the services and products delievered. It's unfortunate that in this sport we don't hear it more often. Thanks to you and Sam for letting us live vicariously through your builds. Keep us posted on your setup ie: slip%, props etc.

Thanks for the compliment David it was a pleasure to help. I am very fortunate in that is still enjoy working on these things every day and i really do adopt each an every one of 'em lol. They test our patience to say the least but in the end it just happens and you are left to enjoy all the hard work. Really hope you guys can make a run to the Bay with us some time this summer.

Mitch just makes it look so easy, awesome paint job and just the right amount of color. Hey wheres the Corona "relax" tree?
