Default 28 Skater looking for bungees

Hey guys I have a 28 Skater with 300 Pro Maxes I was wondering if somebody knows were I can get the bungees to hold my motors in for the ruff stuff.and what size should I use?

I use shock cord , I believe it is 1/2 " you can buy it @ West Marine, Blow Boats use it . It makes a Big difference with the shaking of the motors.

I used this on my 2.5's and worked well. Now that I have the 250xs's I have not used it, but the motors do move alot. Do you have it on your 300xs's?

Cool thanks I will go to west marine and see what thay have on there web site I only seen 3/8 but i will go there and see

When I raced we used 3/8 or 1/2 inch - can't remember what length, then tie off on one side, pull it as tight as we could get it, back and forth multiple times. It helps keep the motors in check and absorbsome of the shock otherwise taken by the transom mounts and/or engine mounting bolts.

Cool guys I got the Bungee 50ft total 25ft per motor did one today went 9 time back and forth.What a job working with that stuff hope I dont have to do this again after the other motor of corse.Thanks for the replys

Yes I use the bungees on my 300XS

Please post some pics . How do you keep the paint from getting beat up in the area where the Bungee touches Mid ?
