So does anyone think you can get the 32 with 300XS's to run 100 every now and then? The one at Ocean Outboard has run a best 102 but it was perfect conditions and took a while to get there. Might add that we dont boat on lakes or rivers!! We really like the 32B with the 300XS's cause its such a big boat but havnt been for a ride in one yet. Im thinking with alot of prop testing/build with people like BBlades, Throttle Up, and Hering you could get the boat to 100 with or without 3 blades stressing on the lowers.

The gear ration on a 300xs is 1.62 to 1 and redline is 6300 RPM. Might be able to swing 30 or 31 pitch 4 blades. So the boat should run 94 to 97.

prop slip the speed is 106 mph according to mercs prop slip calculator. Remember, a cut down flat deck should be more aerodynamic than a standard tall deck boat. |

using your gear ratio and 6300 rpm with 32 pitch props and 10%

There is no way that boat would turn 32p props to 6300 rpm. With 30 to 31 pitch props it might turn 6000 rpm.
What do I know, I only played with props ,heights, gear ratios, spinning in vs out , etc. for 2 years with mine? |
