It was Walter Ragazzi's from Italy with a KE "Open Class" motor and a #6, All Yellow with a 2 man in line canopy

Scott at CP Performance has it, opened the cockpit up for two quarter canopies and a normal looking interior and got repainted it.

If you could get solid mounts and the right gear case hp is good.
Redline is 6800 rpm.
yea call Mercury Racing and ask em why they don't make a sportmaster for the Verado

I don't have any, but call Scott at CP Performance and he can get some for you.

I did speak with a mercury racing rep at the MTi booth during the Fort Lauderdale boat show. He said there is not enough demand to build one. To make things worse all new 300 verados will soon ship with the HD 350 case also. Mercury's focus is building $190,000 1350 packages. Us poor guys that spend $27k each motor don't matter. Someone needs to make an aftermarket one. Lots of fast fish boats would get them.

The boat was never rigged with the Verado's. They were just bolted on the transom for display. I was going to install sportmaters with the Verado internals, but decided to go with a pair 300 xs's. It would have been a lot of work between making motor mounts and the limited gear ratio that was available at that time. The boat ran 103 with the xs

Hi!

There will be a new Poseidon lower for the 350 sci this month. Hopefully it will be faster than the 2nd gen case.

Its possible to buy a reworked Torquemaster and Sportmaster lower unit from www.gtrraceboats.com in Australia that fits 350 sci.
