What would be the best engine height for a 28 w/ 2.5's ? looking for the best all round performance.. 1 .25 above the bottom or higher?

Bring them up as high as the water presure will let you.My 28 with 2.5 280's I run them at 1 3/4 above the bottom with water ramps.Ray

I know that is good for top end, but how does it get on plane

Iam running 15x34 4 blades and it gets on plan good just hold it at 3,000 rpm and the props bite well any more than that and thay blow out.

I have 14.5 x 32 3 blades. they probably wont work at 1 3/4
