Is there enough room to walk around the front seat to get into it or do you have to hop into it like a Gladiator?

Thanks for the pics!!!

DK

Look at the picture of the cockpit in post #2, the seat could be moved over and the steering wheel toward the center to get more room to get around the sides. But leaving it like the picture would be a hop over or it would be real tight.

look at Jim's boat in post 12, he has a wider cockpit and has room to walk around.

ktron 01-27-2011 09:18 AM

I see what your saying about the wider cockpit with the wrap windshield. I do like to be able to walk around the seat to sit even though hopping over is not a big issue either.

DiamondPerformance 01-27-2011 12:18 PM

Our 30 you can walk around the seats no problem, much easier than hopping over.

JIMKID Motorsports 01-28-2011 07:52 AM

I designed my interior so that i could do just that get out of my seat and walk around to the left and right of them you just loose a little space on the deck from the windsheild to the side of the boat but still plenty of room to walk on the deck love my interior for getting around in

Thanks.

The 7D is not for the 'novice', it's big, heavy, expensive and has a billion settings, but when set and used properly, it is amazing. Every time I use it, I learn something to make the shots look better.

Appsyscon, How is the reliability of the 300XS's (gearcases) on your boat?

Thanks,

DK

DK,

During the first 2 years, I went through 6 lower units, at regular 15-20 hours intervals. After fighting with everyone involved, I decided that I needed to get involved and figure out what was wrong. After I found and fixed the installation and setup problems, they have been perfect. I have not had any lower unit problems in the last 1 3/4 years.

KEVLARKAT32 02-01-2011 01:08 PM

Was the shift seal the problem and installed vent kit to cure problem ? Just noticed cracked case

No, I never had any water in the geat lube. The cracks were above the gear area.

KEVLARKAT32 02-01-2011 01:28 PM

what caused it to crack ?
