that boat i was the throtle man for when it was eastern express, it hat 2 small blocks making 700 hp each 6900 rpm with 1.68 gear drives ( drives #4 with large shafts) best speed with a 17 1/2 x 31- 3 blade prop was 115 to 120 4 blade 17 x 29 was 115 that was form our records

Watch this freeze frame utube video, Lake Michigan was ruff that day. Our tie bar broke, I made the one thats on her now , and it should never break.

h2oboater do you have any more pics of the boat when it was eastern express i would really like to see them . and i sure hope that tie bar dont break i already put enough money in her lol

and videos also i question do you know how i can get the props off they are so rusted i can not get them to move trying to take them off i hate traviling with props on the boat i have had someone steal props off my dads boat while we stayed the night at a hotel ?? thanks

h2oboater-- thanks , do you know what happened to the back seat hatch / cover that is on there while in the racing pics?? or was there never a back seat in it at the time?? i just wondering i would love to get ahold of that for poker runs
