Dave I'm playing with props and engine heights at the moment. I am spinning 15x30 labbed Spinellis that the previous owner tossed in with the boat. I spun them 6200 rpm ( should turn 6800rpm) with two guys and 50 gallons of fuel and saw 85.7 mph. I'm going to raise my motors again this evening. I should easily see 95mph with myself and a light load of fuel. With a couple of missmatched motors (260 and 200) I got to 93 with no real setup. I think I will end up with some four or five blades. I like acceleration over top end.

Good to see an outboard discussion on OSO 260, and 280's are awesome motors, but I am stuck on 3 litres, may not be as fast but turn the key and run, then tow your I/O buddies home
