I have has several people ask lately about the 308 Classic Skater Outboard. So here is some photo's of the boat and a few basic specs. Length is 30' 8" and beam is 9' 4".

I think there is a 308 hull sitting at the factory waiting on a buyer??? was next to my 28 when I was up there recently.

there was a pic posted a few years back with a 308 sitting next a 28 at skater and it dwarfed the 28. is there any other pics like that around??

Im 90% sure its the same as Franks. 350's wont run well becasue the gear case is not ment to be surfaced like a sportmaters on the 300xs. Also on the 300xs the mid section is different a little more surable. Not saying it cant be done but I wouldnt recomend it. They run so well with 300xs's why mess with it.
Had a 32 Skater with 3 300s but was in the day that the tanks were failing . Azzpain. Put bladders in but by then I was so Pizzed off that I got rid of it for my 43 Nortech. But it ran great. Loved it. The ones in Blumes pics are gorgeous. |
