how does your tunnel tab perform??? you happy with it??? I have seen a few 28's with them.

It helps get on plane, it stops the hop if you want to go 55- 65, and at wide open a little negative will add to the top speed.

Got it, looks good thanks. I'm looking for better big water characteristics, originally our ride had a large static tunnel extension with trim tabs mounted inside the step but was removed and lost over the years. I have a set of 3-4ft long trim tabs (maybe cut them down) that I'm thinking mounting on rear of the boat (reduce drag) 1/2 inch above the bottom and have a new static extension built. Just not certain if the added weight can be justified...

never really thought of the tab adding speed...kinda like a tunnel extension i suppose?!? I have read and been told its not such a good thing to have one. I know it can be bad to leave it down and turn and at high speeds it can cause a stuff. being able to cruise at slower speeds with out the hop would be nice though.

You are correct, Once you start to move fast you need to pull it up to level. We have the indicator marked at level

yea... i noticed the indicator next to the trim, that's why I asked you about liking it. did you add that or was it on the boat already??? (the tab)
