I saw it last year at Lake Havasu and it looks new. Very nice boat and fast, owner say 200+ is not that hard to do.

I have to ask a question, this is the second Skater that is listed with Turbines that claims 200+. In recent years the hype over the Mystics has been for the same MPH.

Is Skater being understated/underestimated for top end capability in the big cats or is the 200+ in the kilo's what is grabbing attention towards the Mystic?

Don't get me wrong, both are incredible but it seems a short while back the news was Gino/ Pyburn making news as it was a bit of a battle between MTI/Skater 388 as much as the piston power each was pushing..... but if you wanted to break 200 then look to a Mystic....

Has there been an update on the bottom of the 46 or has it always been the same?

Good luck with the listing - beautiful Skater!

I was hoping someone would answer this but I'll try: I think the first piston power cat to run over 200mph officially was JT and David Scott in a 36' Skater w/1500hp Sterlings, 202mph. JetSet is a 40' Classic Skater with gas turbines and has run in the 190+mph for many years. I have a 46' Skater for sale with T-53-703's (the My Way 2 Skater) and the owner says 202-203mph are common. I think David Scott's 46' Skater race boat with Sterling 1550hp motors ran like 196-97mph. Now assuming a 388SS Skater can run 191mph in the kilo with a little more room 200mph shouldn't be hard. Not going to touch the other subjects above but maybe someone else might.
