Default Pure Platinum with 1650 Chiefs

I had the pleasure of taking these in front of Brand X Marine next to my office in Pompano Beach. Jason has just completed rigging the 1650 Chiefs (PUMP GAS !!) and was headed over to ramp her in for the FPC Poker Run tomorrow. Thought you Skater fans would enjoy..

She ran 185 two years ago with twin 1350 Chiefs...with 1650's can 200 be a reality? Stay tuned...

This boat is absolutely beautiful....but Vicious!!!

Default pure platinum

this boat absolutely set the bar when the 388 series got started, then Romers 388 raised it, it will be interesting to see where it goes from here. the 388 series skater is the perfect balance for the inboard tunnels, just like the 28 is for the outboard market, good luck, keep it safe,

I hate to hear that for Bill and Jason. It's always something with these magnificent flying machines. Poor Tyson, last year on the Key West run ran over a seagull and broke the gimbal ring on Jims' Cig. Bill had problems. We blew a motor again. The fun just never ends. I'm sure they will get it sorted out soon and run it like they stole it. Good luck guys.

PP usually dosen't stay down for long. I remember vaguely 2011 KW when Bill, Jim Lee, Steve and someone else I'm forgetting went to Montys. Jim Lees' Skater broke, no problem has back up Cig, and bill broke. I'm out swabing the deck at 8am the next morning with one eye stuck shut and they were testing the new mill in Bills' boat. While we were out having stone crab they drug Bills cat to Jacksonville and put in a fresh mill overnite!
Bill don't play! Jason is crazy. He's been faster in a bildge than most have been in a bolster. Lol

Default never ask that

that is a question that will never be answered directly, some subjects are just too sensitive.
