In paint booth!
|
bad azz, that is one wide tunnel
|
I've never seen a paint booth that large. It looks like a space ship sitting in a hangar somewhere on the deathstar
|
How well does paint hold up on the bottom

Does it too need to be pulled with a big dualy? Or is it small enough to get away with a SRW truck? |

Long box 3500 HD SRW "should" handle it fine.

Looks great an the tilt trailer will be sweet! Can you give any additional details about the small blocks and what type of power they are going to make?

I like that idea, aluminum motors, arnesons, and make it a slw, that would be one efficient running fat boy
|
Blume is correct. We are using marinized Cadillac CTS-V LSA's from Indmar Marine. They are using the crank and dry sump system from the LS9 on the LSA. We should be on their dyno for the next few weeks. Stock LSA's produce 557HP 551ft/lb torque.
By using the LSA and ASD 7's coupled with Aluminum Velvet drive transmissions should result in significant weight reduction over most options. |
Did u go with the slw option, if not, why?

I would SOOOO go tilt if the budget allowed anything close to that. Nothing says bad ass like rolling coast-to-coast towing a tilted bad mofo.
|
Wow I think I need to start filling teeth lol

Busy day in the salt mine!
Yes the trailer is being built by Americn Tilt and Tow in Poplar Bluff MO. They are only 3 hours from my house. My truck has autopilot to their shop. Pete said he could make one for the 338 after I started mine. Carl the owner of American is in the process of retiring so he says. He has really put a lot if effort in making this trailer something he can be proud of. So far all seems to be good. I spoke with Tom B about the issues on his American Trailer for his Mystic. Tilting a 50' 12+' beam Mystic versus a 338 at 10'2" beam are two totally different animals. Before all the stuff starts Tom's issues have been addressed on my build. Pete has been a huge help on the build of the trailer. He is also installing the bunks and a full composite floor on my trailer. Sam |

Waiting for updates. Good things take time. Skaters take a little longer. Always worth the wait.
