Thats great to hear about both Sam. Thanks for the update.

precisiondetails 09-07-2013 09:18 AM

That's great news Sam... Hey are yours or Louie's engines dry sump?

skate 09-07-2013 05:05 PM

Mine are not. We rigged a pump and reservoir for the oil when on the Tilt Trailer.

skate 09-08-2013 12:58 AM

I spoke with Brad Thursday. He was headed to Skater this coming Monday with Jeff and was going to go over my rigging with Mike and Pete. He was so supportive of me when my son was hurt. Jeff even offered to take my boat if I wanted to sell it. I cannot express how sad I am that they are both gone. I have been involved in boating for over 37 years and Brad was as good as it gets as a business man, engine builder, and person. Please remember them and their families in your prayers and honor them by boating safely and with courtesy to others that share the water.

Any other new boats there getting finished?

noli 10-23-2013 09:32 PM

.
.
is the pipe inside the cockpit along the bulkhead, for fuel or is it for organizing electrical wires?

It looks to be a crossover for the fuel so you could fill both tanks from the starboard side. My Talon with two 55 gallon tanks is setup the same. Lookin good Sam. How is Will progressing?

Ding ding we have a winner! It is crossover for fuel as boat is on tilt trailer and fuel is filled and vented on the high side. Today's update. Waiting on tailpipes and tie bar.

Will is doing better each day. His legs have a lot of function. He and I did pool therapy yesterday and he was able to walk in water with support for balance. Over ground is very difficult as he cannot support his weight completely and balance is an issue. We have finger and very limited arm movement. The muscle tone and spasms in his arms are limiting his movement. Thanks for asking we are keeping him in Atlanta thru February.

Sam

Sam- what's that green boat in the far back ground? Not the one right next to yours

precisiondetails 10-25-2013 12:07 AM

And is that Gotcha Now the 46 in the back ground?

LAriverratt 10-25-2013 07:07 AM

white with black and silver trim is so clean looking

kaama82 10-25-2013 10:35 AM

Beautiful. Nice and simple.

bulletbob 10-25-2013 01:37 PM

Thats great news about Will Sam. It sounds like he is making good progress. Tell Will all his fellow boaters are pulling for him and I look forward to seeing you both on the water soon. The cat looks perfect all white. The lines of the cat will speak for themselves. Instant classic!

Bob

LAriverratt 10-25-2013 01:50 PM

are those skater bucket seats??? look a little diff but could be the all white that's making em look that way

Hustler40 10-25-2013 07:43 PM

Is that a swim ladder in the bustle? If so very cool. Great lookin boat

skate 10-25-2013 11:08 PM

Yes we jump in to cool off at home so the stow away ladder was a nice touch. We also added cup holders in the center console with a built in rod holders. We have an umbrella that sticks in the rod holder and locks. The wife wants to save her skin!

skate 10-25-2013 11:12 PM

Yes those are the new skater seats. Very comfortable with lots of support and security. The all white lets the lines speak for themselves. We used a metallic pearl white with clear coat. It pops in the sun. Also you can sit or walk anywhere in the summer without getting third degree burns.

skate 10-25-2013 11:14 PM

Thanks we hope to get a good recovery. He walked again today with the walker which is huge. We still don't have much in the arms due to spasticity but we are working in that. Take care

Sam

LAriverratt 10-26-2013 06:52 AM

I like the seats!!! my old high back barrels are gone for sure this winter LOL will check with skater on new interior.

great to hear your son is improving!!! will continue to keep him in our thoughts and prayers down here for sure!
