Default New cam testing 30 skater

I took some cam out of my ls motors went from solid to hydraulic took a bunch of valve spring out of them valve train much happier on lost about 10 horsepower and picked up 30 ftlbs of torque en joy

450 cu in mast black label heads and there intake the intake really isn't what I wanted but almost 6.5 years ago was all that was avalable would do so thing different if picking them today this intake is more for drag race not real good on torque but they work for now

either way for a considerably lighter package than an ole big block they run really well looks like. what kind of power numbers you making?

700 hp at 6300 rpm 630 torque at 5200 the best part is 2 mpg at 55 mph cruise and still able to run 120 mph which is plenty fast in a 30 footer and is a blast to run and still insure the boat

What did it run speed wise when you had the ilmor 570's in it?

Nice if I end up with a 29 footer with twins (which eventually i will lol) I might have to look into an ls package for it.
