Yes and that's hopefully when they are found. Know of an airplane that went down due to restricted fuel flow. One had partially plugged a fitting before it was installed. Taught me to always make sure fittings are clear before I install them. Have seen them starting to build on airspeed indicator pitot tubes and fuel tank vents. Good reason to use those "remove before flight" covers.
I previously posted they were like a yellow jacket but they are actually in the wasp family.

yes looks like sometimes we do LOL, but we also have most of the winter to work em out too
