Default aeration tubes or not?

They definitely look kewl, but how do they hold up under high speeds and the stress put on them? I wouldn't expect them to flex much.......

Ha ha I was getting close to asking the same question. I know my outboard boat would not get on a plane without some ventilation. I don't want to run the tubes if I don't have to.

I have the teague brand installed on my 32B. I run a set of 800NA motors and they don't make much torq on the low end to spin my props to get on plane so I installed the vent tubes and the boat gets on plain no problem now. Well werth the money for my setup.

When I got my Skater it had Coan 2 speed transmissions so it got on plain easy with the low gear. I got rid of the 2 speeds and put a set of Bam in. So I lost the low gear the boat would get on plain but I had to work it put the drives up tabs down till the props started to spin then lower the drives raise the tabs. I got sick of that really quick and installed the air tubes she gets on plain now no problem 5 people full tanks I cant be happier.

All I can say is don't buy those carbon fiber ones. Over priced!! Just the regular ones will be just fine

Well then I better try to get some on before I even water test the thing. Little 525s in a 36 will definitely need them if you were having a hard time with 800s.
