Hey Guys, All of you who have been following this thread and know Dale understand he calls it how he sees it. As I see it he was not attacking me or my position. He has been very helpful to me since the beginning even before I posted anything on Offshore. I have had a lot of private message conversations with him also which have always been constructive and at the same time we have not always agreed on everything. I believe he was addressing more about the situation that has developed from the industry side. Anyway I don't see it as a big deal. We are all entitled to our own position on anything. Its what makes the world go round. Maybe I should have let this die but I figured I throw my 2 cents in. Steve.

P.S. Also sometimes I find the arguments on this site very entertaining. Ha. Sorry. And keep up the good work Gentlemen.

You understand me perfectly Steve! You know I love your build (as we've discussed several times), and have given you all the information and knowledge I have from doing this for so long now. Yes, I say what's on my mind, but most everything I state is fact - unless it is opinion based such as paint schemes and colors. Just keep being patient and you will be very happy in the end! Oh ya, and enjoy all the interest and banter about your build! Lol :ernaehrung004:

I agree Gentleman, I think that of all the sites out there the Skater section on OSO is the best, most entertaining one of all!!!!:stooges: Guys like Dale have a ton of knowledge and personally I have learned a lot over the years with these boats and love seeing project builds like Steve's and Skates. :cool-smiley-026:You can always learn something from someone no matter how much you think you know. Steve your build is in uncharted territory and will provide many hours of enjoyment getting the set up right. That is why we all have these type of boats. I personally look forward to seeing how it pans out and I am sure when the time comes there will be many more suggestions on what will make your boat run LOL.
In the end the only thing that matters is what you think and how your boat handles in the conditions you use your boat. :boat:

Dale we appreciate your input as always. You have one nice 28 that is fast and out of the norm. Carry on Gentleman and let's get back on topic! :circle:

Steve , If your happy , I stand corrected .
I don't know much about these types of boat. All I can tell you is dumb stuff like , don't trim trim too deep , cats bow steer real bad .
If everybody wants to cruise right where yours starts to lope , a little extra positive trim will prolong the movement.
Docking , turning in tight places, steer it like it has two wide spaced motors , with the shifters .
Trimming to much , well I'm sure your boy 30 can post a picture of exactly what tunnel crawling looks like ... :picard1:

It would be great if all could get together, like Skaterfest. It would be great fun.

Thanks Ron......... And I agree, let's get back to taking about Steve's new rig! And btw, I read on another forum that you've got your Xs running well and you're very happy with them - congratulations! :drink: I know you had to work through some gremlins to get to your happy place. I'd love to have the performance of a pair of DBR Xs on my 28.......

Hey Tube, I appreciate your concern and kind words. I know the least about these boats in reality. Ive learned most of what I know in theory from everyone on this particular site. Anything that anyone can contribute is greatly appreciated. After all its my first Skater or Catamaran for that matter. I think anybody can learn something about these boats and their set ups here. Any way Thanx again, Steve.
