It is not a myth. We just got tired of building world champtionship boats for Cigarette and Fountain.

The advanced technology carries on from the 5 step 32, 36 & 40 Cats over to the new Skater 399. Unlike the old 2 or 3 step technology, the 5 steps allow the boat to break and aerate the water much more forward at the bow, making this perhaps the most radical bottom in V bottom technology. Leave it to Pete !

Number 2 is in the mold with 4 more orders behind it. Each takes 8-12 months to build depending upon configuration.

We don't post anything publicly until the boat is officially released; for obvious reasons.
