I have an Eliminator with twix 300xs and I am loosing water pressure above 112 mph, and I am interested in adding ramps, does anyone have pictures or a description of the process. I am reluctant to add remote water pickups.

Sam,
Glad to see the results. Seems like the boat really did not lose much speed based on the conversion. Now you need to get a set of Dewalds. I hope to get mine in the water sometime next week. Have one more day tomorrow to wrap things up in the back.
Thanks for posting.

I was going to set it up to record my gauges and record set up parameters and performance. Of course I left it at home this weekend. We only deepened my ramps an additional 1/8" from what Pete had done but it made ALL the difference in the world on my water pressure issues. Ron walked me thru the rest of the programming for my VV7's so now I have speed input from my Garmin 7610 to the VV7's. Now I just need to find the prop slip and Max performance Windows.

I would love to fly up the next time you test your 318. I'm still seriously considering upgrading power to 400Rs depending on your results. Thanks for sharing your build and data!

Hey Sam, It would be fun to have you there but it is not my game and I don't know how long it will take this time. Plus there is already a ton of people there it sounds like. Ha. Had 6 in my boat at one point. Still ran 98mph with fuel. Pretty good with what they thought was about 2000 lbs extra. How far were your ramps originally cut in to the hull. Steve.

One guy five strippers and a Yeti. Perfect day of testing. I pick up 2 mph for every stripper I throw overboard. Congrats Steve I would be elated with 114!
Sam I would be blissful with your setup and you will get your slip numbers into the single digits but..................your getting 400s'. No need to be in denial. Unless someone buys her from you soon.

Totally Stock motors.

I have not measured the engine height but I was able to lift in higher settings without loosing water pressure.

Interesting number according to Smartcrart I have logged 577 miles with 284 gallons of fuel. For an overall season average of 2.0 MPG total burn rate.

Sam, I think your gear ratio is 1.62:1. Great numbers! I would love to experience the "ride" of your boat - must be awesome!
