I know I'm looking for the needle in the haystack but I had one in the early 80's and had all the fun I could handle with it. On a smaller lake now and it would be perfect for my needs. Dale's video almost wants to make me step up but way more boat than I need. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 17' Speedliner cat; 1976 model. I have not even put it in the water yet; has been in the barn for over a year. I have new carpet and a brand new interior I need to finishing installing and I plan to put a jack plate on it too.
Once done, I'm either going to sell it or my 18' jet boat. I have not decided which one I like better. (Jet boat is new to me too; have not put in water yet either.)
I'll let you know if the Speedliner is going up for sale this summer.

Thanks for the referral. Interesting, though, I personally looked at that boat in Charlotte about 8 months ago. The real original owner was trying to sell it for $4500. He sold it to this guy for $1000 to get it out of his driveway!. The hull and motor both need work. I will investigate it though.
