Well had to upgrade the switch panel with some new style switch/resettable built breaker and a few. Also replaced existing fuse/gnd blocks and rewired. The switches are great.

After some further testing we determined that the we were not totally happy with the pick ups and how deep they are based on current Skater water ramps that were made. They were a little undersized. I decided to cut into the bottom and make them the same size diameter as the pick up.

Finished pickup. Only 3/32" inch below the bottom reduced from 1/4 to 3/8".

Double , why are the water ramps Made , is that to reduce the drag and/or water disturbing in front of the prop ?
Or will it have to many water in it as you just let them come under out the running surface ?
We have here a lot problem whit water plants coming in the water pick ups look like this also could be a solution as there isn't sticking out something where it can hang on and block the hole .the way you made them the plants will probably pass the pick ups
Thx

The ramps are for my hull pick ups and funnel water traveling down the hull to the pick up. My engines do not have any ability to pick up water other than the hull pick ups. The normal opening on the lower unit has been closed off.
The reason for all this is to be able to raise the propshaft in reference to the bottom to reduce drag.
Hope this helps
