Yes, the cross deck was added, the new vertical wall is @ the bucket seat installed angle to utilize the gained area on the floor. (inside the hatch)
The 6" cross deck nets me almost 14" of floor space fore and aft, batteries and oil bags will go there, about 3.5 feet farther forward than they were originally.
Also 2) butts were moved forward 6" because of the cross deck. The finished boat will be a 4) seater.
