Default 28 Skater Winter Project Begins !!!!

Gentleman -

Well today, of course being the coldest day of the year, I hauled my "new to me" 28 an hour and a half South to Valley Motorsports in Eagen, MN. Time to clean things up a bit. Looking at new gauges, new carpet, and a few other simple things.

Starting point pictures to follow .... I'll update after it's done.

Great boat I am not sure what was done to it. I set it up with 15" new 2.5s on 6" brackets. It would run 108-110 but very good in the rough water.

Maybe I'm the fourth owner then? I thought the guy Dave bought it from re-rigged it with 300X's? Where did you run it? Dave bought it from a guy in Connecticut about 6-8 years ago I think.

Then it spent the last several years North of Chicago.

That's it. Dave had the boat repainted and also did new interior in 2010 or 2011. All that's left are new gauges and some other simple things and it will look like a new boat.

Hey Mike
Does the boat have a cockpit cover?
I may have my original 28 cover from Skater in red. It is in good condition.

Let me know and i can check.
