the pic above brings back some old memories
guy here in Houston back in late 80s-90 had a 24 with trip ported 260s on nitrous for drags on the river
boat hopped at any cruising speed
but when under full power flew dragging no hull like in that pic
2 out of 3 passes would get out of shape,,,but that 1 pass was awesome when it stayed straight and not too high
been soo long don't really remember if was striped or not but was white boat
was not a factory trip as adding a 3rd motor is not that hard
I have a tripped 260+ 27' vee and the excelleration is crazy stupid on a 2,800 lb hull
3 props vrsing 2 there is no comparison in the excelleration with o/bs
24 does not weigh that much more than a 21 and adding 250-300 more hp and 3rd prop
they fly,,,,don't dive good but fly

Roy Cullen was the guy that owned the 1 im talking about,,,,
I don't remember the color as was 30 yrs ago
thought it was white,,,,easily I could be wrong,,,could be same boat,,,,don't know
what I do know is with tripps on a 21 or 24 be carefull as if pack the bow tooo high,,,,its over,,,,
