Engine data, switching, plotter etc available on all displays in any format. For the record it is more like $8k in diplays!

I knew those screens all totaled well north of $5k - $8k doesn't surprise me at all. I paid $4,600.00 for one display - a Simrad NSS16 evo3. We will also be linking it with the Mercury Network device. I only care to display a few readouts full time, so I think that just one big 16" display will work well. Bob will be able to display everything available to him with those 3 screens! Keep up the good work, and post up some pics when you guys get it on the water.

I wouldn't worry about grinding ramps into the bottom, I'd have Dave Dewald build you a set of 14 3/4" x 35" 4 blade over-hub cleavers. You'll no longer be near the rev limiters, but you should be able to pull them to around 6,000rpm or so @ 115mph. You've got a set of strong XSs and a very good running 28 just the way it is set-up. Glad to hear you're enjoying the boat that ended up with my old 28's powerheads on it!

Water Ramps

Australia, They are 1.5" wide, 3/8" deep at the inboard side and 1/8" at the outboard side. They feather towards the bow approx. 4" to 5" (longer with the deeper cut). Look at the photo Ron posted. Mine look just like that. hope that helps?

Getting close. Got the Sea Dek installed today. Cast Away Customs did a great job not only in getting from concept to finished products but also on time!

I'm having a hard time coming around to dash displays with no gauges LOL. clean look, which I should really like but I guess working on and operating heavy equipment through the years has gotten me set in the old days LOL...The new equipment displays looks a lot like that dash too LOL.

Really nice, Ron! Going to be a great weight savings with the two rear bucket seats as well. Like the combing pad design as well! But... how heavy is the sea deck, especially extending all the way into the sponsons? I have never handled it. Is it a light weight foam material - I hope so, not rubber??
