even followed the side angle to match the side of fairing
this is the 1st prototype I made and installed
local glass shop couldn't get 12' sheet in in time so had it made in 2 piece
so next will be 1 piece wraparound and have machine made mounts,
asc wqe know 1st 1 is a test but still came out very nice
will be testing deflection at tickfaw this weekend

Very Nice job! Glad to see someone else having a solution. It will be plenty big. The one i had on my 28 worked really well and also allowed the cockpit to be a bit cooler that a large wrap around. Have fun at Tic Faw and be safe

tks
my shop miffco has been building race boats and fabricating molded parts since 1982
so pretty anal on fit and look
this 1rs 1 turned out really nice and glyn is estatc
as wanted to fit the 28 and look as if left factory with it,,,
the next 1 will be the next genn with 1 piece and custom made mounting parts
as now I know what I want to mount it and seal
just giving another option for a shield for others
to give the original 28 design a new style wraparound look
without cutting on the hull

How much are you thinking that you could sell them for?

One thing that I really like about the Lee wraparound is that it seems like it protects the folks in the back seats better.

don't have that answer yet
as now I know all the bevel angles,,drill, hole locations and black out I want and heated in mold as 1 piece
then get with machinest to mill out my mounts
so its a 100% bolt on item,,,,with little labor
wont be too much as I did all the molding for my customer and my boat to have a custom screen
wlyk when I get a solid # and fit the next 1

There can be a whole lot of ways to skin a cat! That JohnMiffco fabricated windshield is impressive as hell. It amazes me the talent that folks have.

That all said, besides the cost, what would be a drawback of the Jim Lee style wraparound windshield? It seems like it would also protect the rear seat passengers better, as it is a bit taller, and the sides go back much furthur, but maybe I am missing something. Thanks!
