do you mean 4 inches below the sides?
still looking for a race hatch do you know where you can get a windshield my has a bend in it |
4 or more inches down. I had my windscreen made out of Lexan at a plastic place.

on the bottom of the hull it has water pickups witch were
connected to the adapter between the powerhead and midsection , does any body know if it goes aal the way through to the triangle piece (from the tubefrom the lower unit)? i dont want to run the hose to the lower unit. |
Triangle piece?
Those pickups are worth speed, could you post some pictures of them? I have a 24 Skater and would like to put a set on mine. From what I have seen, water pickups on the transon go directly to an adapter on the exhaust plate. Having those pickups allow you to raise the motor higher. Some guys even fill the low water pickups on their lower units, so it's completely smooth. Then when idling, they run an electric water pump to feed the motor. Post this question on S&F if you get no action here. |
hey flyinbrian
the waterpickup are on the bottom (underneath)made in the hull . try to send you a picture of it , when i figure how to work the damn camera. |
If its a true 2.5 adapter plate the passage goes all the way through, I made my pick ups from stainless tubing, as far as the windshield goes, Ryan is right I made mine from Lexan, sprayed it black, looks good as new and won't pit anymore from salt water.

Call the factory. We custom make windshields. Cost approx $500.
