Default Full cover for 28 Skater

With the windshield upgrade and the color changes, I no longer need the red full cover that came with it when I purchased it. It also has the red covers for the 300x's. It seems to be in pretty decent shape, as it was stored inside.

That said, I need to get a new cover made, but I am a bit nervous about a cover rubbing on the windshield. I typically do not travel with a cover on, but there are times that I need to. What are others using? What kind of materials? Thanks in advance!

I'd think that the cover and 2 engine covers would be worth $500, plus the ride from Missouri (if you know anybody coming to the Shootout they could give them a ride home). They are used, and may need a little work, but overall they are in good shape. Hell, I would even throw in the red cockpit carpeting (snap in). I have 2 full sets of gauges also (including teh smartcraft monitors)..........they also happen to be red!

Now that I am at it, the red steering wheel is also being replaced, along with the ignition and starter switch panel in the middle.

Lol Skater Garage sale looks oh so familiar.

To cover or not to cover the continuing saga goes on.......

I have a very nice expensive Sunbrella tonnaue cover with the soft inside which doesn't scratch the wind shield. So they say. Craig at Appearance Products made it. I then had a full cover made with a less expensive soft inside liner. Additionally I have head rest covers to protect them.

I always tow with tonnaue cover and engine covers. If I use my full cover for longer trips and I always put tonnaue cover on first. Some people say dirt gets on these and scratches paint even on cowls. I travel roads were bugs tree limbs and gravel is more of a problem than using a little mirror glaze and buffing wheel. I'm on my third season. I just buffed and mirror glazed and the clear looks great.

I also installed Rocktamer flaps on my hitch. My kids make fun of me now but the rocks don't get to my paint!
