last year , a complete remodel beefed it up to two modified drag motors alot of changes! it screams! tons of new goodies but still wasnt perfect , i goofed and put yellow in with the red stripes , thought it would look good matching the stripes on the cowls but thank goodness the red faded so it was all redone under warranty! check out the awful rusted up trailer , i spent so much time on it i was about to sell , my wife never liked it anyway , with all the power on the back it has a terrible porpoise that gets very violent around 50 , if you air it up high around 35 you can pull the bow back down around 70 and take off! last year at the apba savannah race , i raced a 28 that ran around 119 , i waited til he got to speed and blew by him( my boat runs 130+ , then slowed down and hit it again , he was a great guy , came in the bar all weekend and had a great time. he thought i was running nitrous (lol) they called my boat a "potato chip with mercs" i had a blast , hope to meet some new faces here this year! i have alot of friends that race but always looking forward to meeting somenew weekend warriors.

this year another complete overhaul was done , i added a tunnel tab , installed water ballast tanks in the bow , moved my batteries to the bow (installed gel cell batteries) added a pumping system to fill and empty the tanks , i only need them at low speeds to flatten the boat out. a new aluminum trailer , 15" ss mids that came with my motors , i was scared to use them last year because water was already getting in the cowls because the boat sits so low at idle. i added sportmaster gearcases. i hope with the ballast tanks and battery move that the bow will sit lower this year. i re-did the interior all white with bright red stripes only that actually match my boat colors! last year i put an in-contol dual foot throttle in hooked up with my gaffrigs , i got a good one for you , dont use red bezels , they fade! i was promised that powder coated red would last along time but they faded within a month or two. i added a polished dino wheel and will add polished bezels later this month. this year i added a mach crt (cordless remote trim) i really needed that. i also put independent trim and tab switches in the console to line everything up and both systems are hooked up on the crt and the throttles. i will be posting complete pictures of the finished product in the next few days. i would love to hear some opinions from you guys on what you think. i love input!
