Default whats it worth

i have been watching this boat for about a year now its been on traderonline for a while. it is exactly what i want. 88/89 sonic ss with arch. looking for a project, somthing i can re-power. not sure why this was converted to a single but it definetly knocks the value. how should i aproach this? first time i saw it it still had twins and was like 29K. what should i offer. i will be in that area in a few weeks and want to go and take a look at it.

Nada value is 21-26k on that boat and since it's been modified to one engine.... I think the price is too high. There is another one of that year listed on boattrader with twins for a little more money. Not sure if your intention is to take the boat back to twins or stay with a single. If your interested in twins, I'd look at the other one on boat trader.

definetly put twins back in it. i was going to offer him 15k and see he still has the drive that was removed. i have always liked that year with the arch and brovos. looks to be in good shape otherwise. cant believe someone went through the effort to convert to a single.

what kind of speed can i expect with aprox 450hp per side.

Let me know if anyone wants me to look at this boat. Huntingtown, MD is 15min from my house. I have never seen this boat on the water or on land for that matter. You can't forget a paint job like that on a Sonic! Yuck!

I totally redid my 1988 with twin scorpions at 350 HP, best speed was 72 MPH once, more like 65 most days. Watch a video of it on hyperfishing.com

Great boat, likely will have it for the next twenty years.
