31ss Bimini & Full enclosure question??
I'm taking my boat in for a complete canvas package at a local shop. If anyone has this setup, how does the canvas attach to the front? Did they use the snaps that are already there for the cockpit cover which are several feet in front of the windscreen? Or did they add snaps to the windscreen area? Not sure how it will look if they took the canvas all the way forward to the already existing snaps since they are so far forward.
I'd appreciate any feedback as the boat goes in tomorrow.
Thanks for your help everyone!!!

They used the snaps for the cockpit cover when they made mine but I asked them to.

Dyno, how does the top look using the forward snaps? I'm having them mount the bimini to the rails, the back poles to the rail also and what I wasn't sure of was poles mounted to the rail for the forward bimini poles or to go with straps to rail or fiberglass(which I don't care to do). Do you have any pics? If so, can you mail them to
Having a local shop do my bimini and full enclosure. Comes with poles to hold it in upright position when not in use, bimini boot, top and all sides. He's going to try and mount it under the engine hatch, but no promises. Sunbrella material and second best plastic glass grade. Going with captain navy blue.

what I did was have a new top made that was made from top gun that has a Izen glass windsheild I have no side curtains the top attaches at the front cockpit cover snaps and at the arch as the factory sun shades do. I use it if I get caught in a down poor of if weekending to keep the due off the cockpit. The boats in storage yet but I can try to get a picture....

Re: 31ss Bimini & Full enclosure question??
We had a complete camper canvas made, the poles attach to the rails with quick release pins. It works out great. When out for just the day we usually leave the rear canvas behind but when heading for the weekend or overnight we bring it all.
