What year did they start with the serpentine belt?? I know my last 98 merc mpi had serpentine, I noticed the one in the pic doesn't have the serpentine????? Just curious...... I've been looking for a serpentine conversion kit, haven't found anything to date... would like the mpi's though!!!!

My 98 also had Mpi's with the v-belt. I also had a 99 mpi in a formula that I had the sepentine belt.
