Advertise, advertise and advertise, then drop the price and advertise some more. Good luck will keep it in mind if I hear anything.

Boattraderonline.com is a great place to advertise, not sure if your out there yet or not. Also, with your whipple setup, advertise the performance aspect of it, post real speeds, that will be their first question. Not sure where you are compared to nada, but be prepared to advertise and explain why you are asking the price your at. I've always liked to advetise the price that I actually want for the boat, provides a lower number right off the bat to the lookers and they know right away where I stand, takes the cumbersome negotiating out of the picture. Usually with boats we want to move them quick whereas if it's something we're willing to sit on, then asking a higher number may qualify....

Good luck!!!! What kind of boat are you looking to move up to??

Just had to add...... I don't know how many times I've gone to look at boats and they advertise... clean clean clean.... perfect perfect perfect this or that... and then you get there and it's nothing like described..... To me it's worth the extra personal free time to really go over the boat and detail it so when they get here, it looks like it just came out of the show room and they can just take it away and use it.... ready to go condition... clean wax, clean vinyl, crc engine and clean bilge.... Is everything working?? It's a sign to the buyer that you've really taken care of the boat....

When I get a call, I always describe to them the difference between when the boat was new and it's current condition, then there are no surprises when they come to look at it. I'm pretty anal with my boat, so each one I sold, there is usually only a short laundry list and not a whole lot of discussion when they come look at it. It's exactly as described. They know the price and the condition and if they are "real" buyers, when they get here, no surprises. My last 2 boats sold to the first persons that came to see them. Questionable buyers are eliminated right away with my set price or they don't like the info I give them on the phone. Saves me time having to show it and having them maybe find something they don't like just because I didn't tell them ahead of time.....

Just my own experience.... Best of luck to you!!!!!

Right now I have my eyes on a 1999 Donzi 33zx at Lightning Bay Marine. I just really want something with more cockpit & cabin space. And a couple of more mph is always nice too. Thanks for all of the input.

33 Donzi, very nice boat, really liked that model.... It's a wide boat also and think it ran quite a few lbs.... Good luck with it!!!
